All of us at Navicure are extremely pleased when we hear about the results that clients realize shortly after implementing our revenue cycle management solutions. They tell us about days in A/R dropping precipitously, write-offs shrinking to nearly nothing, revenue and cash flow improving dramatically, and productivity skyrocketing.

Our solutions are designed, of course, to help clients sustain these positive results over the long term. But there are benefits beyond the initial “pop” that our solutions provide. These can be categorized in the following three ways:

  1. Tactical: We provide a “scoreboard” feature that underlies claims processing functionality. The scoreboard highlights errors on a claim-by-claim basis so practices can fix the claim immediately. This ensures that claims get to the payer more reliably, so the practice gets paid more quickly.
  2. Strategic: Likewise, we offer a wide variety of tools that allow practices to identify trends across multiple payers. Error messages are categorized so managers and directors can identify internal problems that regularly trigger rejections or denials – overlooking the need to add a fifth digit to an ICD-9 code, for instance. This mistake may affect only one or two claims per payer. But when the problem is spread over 10 or 15 payers, its impact becomes more significant. Navicure makes it easy to spot these less obvious, negative trends so you can correct the problem at the source.
  3. Analytical: Once problems have been identified through tactical and strategic means, practices can deploy analytical tools to ensure their organization complies with corrective measures. We provide reporting capabilities that measure how well staff members adhere to those policies and procedures in order to remedy habitual – and potentially costly – errors.

To optimize return on investment after adopting Navicure, practices are well served to utilize the additional features we offer. While clients experience significant improvements in cash flow and profitability almost immediately after implementation, even greater benefits are possible over the long term. Navicure is not a “one and done” solution. It provides effective tools that allow practices to keep a close eye on all activities that affect the revenue cycle and implement measures that can produce an enviable ROI.
