Leadership Team
Jim Denny is the Founder, President and CEO
of Navicure, Inc. He is responsible for Navicure’s
corporate development and strategy with an
emphasis on revenue growth, product development,
and mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Denny has more than fifteen years of leadership
experience in the healthcare technology industry.
Before founding Navicure in 2000, he held
a variety of senior management positions with
NDCHealth’s Provider Healthcare Transaction
Group. Most significantly, Mr. Denny was responsible
for a business unit that supported 30,000
healthcare providers and processed more than
70 million transactions annually. During his
six year tenure, he led this unit to profitability
for the first time in its operating history.
Prior to NDC, Mr. Denny was with PepsiCo’s
Pizza Hut division, where he oversaw operations
for the Southeast Atlanta market. He also
held various sales and marketing roles with
National Reference Laboratories and Bio-Analytical
Technologies.
Mr. Denny graduated from St. Lawrence University
with a bachelor’s degree in English
Literature. He holds an M.B.A. degree from
Emory University’s Goizueta Business
School with a concentration in Finance and
Marketing. |

Ken Bradley, a founding team member, is responsible
for assessing markets, monitoring government
regulatory requirements and providing competitive
analyses to develop strategies and solutions
that ensure Navicure and its clients continued
success in an increasingly complicated business.
Prior to his current role, Ken directed
the development and management of healthcare
transaction data and associated interfaces
between Navicure, healthcare providers and
payer organizations.
Ken has more than 18 years of experience
in the healthcare industry, specializing
in the development of practice management
software (PMS), and the design and development
of systems and applications utilized to
process healthcare data. Prior to joining
Navicure, he served as the Manager for Development
with NDCHealth’s Provider Healthcare
Transaction Group.
Mr. Bradley joined NDC from Physicians Practice
Management, where he spent several years
in various positions supporting the development
and operations of the company’s PMS
and integrated claims processing clearinghouse.
Mr. Bradley graduated from Purdue University
with a bachelor’s degree in Systems
Analysis and a minor in Business.

Kernie Brashier joined Navicure in 2010. He
is responsible for providing strategic leadership
in developing and implementing IT initiatives
and processes for Navicure’s technology
platform. Mr. Brashier has 22 years of experience
in online transaction processing systems,
including healthcare EDI, credit card processing
and lottery systems.
Prior to Navicure, Mr. Brashier served as
CEO for ista North America. While there he
instituted a major automation effort that
drove customer retention and reduced expenses
16 percent. Before ista, he served as CTO
for E-Tran where we has responsible for consolidating
strategic acquisitions into a unified treasury
management clearinghouse and developing a
commercial trading platform serving institution
banks. Mr. Brashier has also held leadership
positions with InterCept, Stratosphere and
Equifax.
Mr. Brashier has a bachelor’s degree
in Computer Science from Greenwich University. |

Craig Bridge, a founding team member, is responsible
for operations within Navicure.
Mr. Bridge has more than thirteen years of
experience working in the healthcare transaction
sector and brings a wealth of practical experience
regarding the design and operation of high
volume healthcare transaction processing enterprises.
Prior to joining Navicure, he oversaw the
Project Management and Quality Assurance Groups
for S2 Systems, a leading global provider
of mission-critical enterprise payment and
transaction management solutions for the healthcare
industry. Mr. Bridge joined S2 Systems after
serving in various positions of increasing
responsibility within NDCHealth’s Provider
Healthcare Transaction Group.
Mr. Bridge graduated from the University of
Georgia and holds an M.B.A. from Kennesaw
State University’s Michael J. Coles
College of Business with a concentration in
Information Systems Management. |

Laura Bridge joined Navicure in 2002. She
is responsible for management of Navicure’s
Client Service team, which includes billing
and technical support, implementation and
training, account management, and project
management. Ms. Bridge founded the Client
Services team with the mission of creating
a world-class team of client service experts
and infrastructure to serve as a key differentiator
for Navicure. Her Client Services team now
comprises more than one-third of Navicure’s
employees, which is the company’s single
largest human resource investment.
Prior to joining Navicure, Ms. Bridge was
employed for six years with NDC Health’s
Provider Healthcare Transaction Group. Initially
serving as a member of the strategic vendor
support team, she held various roles of increasing
responsibility, including management of the
implementation, enrollment and client support
departments.
Ms. Bridge graduated from Samford University
with a bachelor’s degree in Human Development
and Family Studies. |

Phil Dolan joined Navicure in 2007. He is
responsible for managing the company’s
demand generation.
Mr. Dolan joined Navicure from Merial, LLC,
a leading global animal health company owned
by sanofi-aventis. In his five years with
Merial, he led growth of the company’s
largest profit center, U.S. Parasiticides,
from $350 million to more than $700 million
in revenue.
Prior to Merial, Mr. Dolan served as Chief
Marketing Officer with Servervault, where
he contributed to both revenue growth and
capital-raising. He spent the previous eleven
years successfully managing flagship brands
and categories in progressive marketing
and sales leadership roles with Colgate-Palmolive,
Heineken and The Coca-Cola Company.
Mr. Dolan graduated from Connecticut College
with a bachelor’s degree in Economics
and English. |

Matthew Halkos joined Navicure in 2002. He
is responsible for leading a national direct
sales team that generates business from healthcare
providers. He has played an integral role
in Navicure’s growth from a start-up
venture to a national leader in revenue cycle
management that now services thousands of
clients across 50 states.
Prior to Navicure, Mr. Halkos gained valuable
experience in both sales management and account
management positions over the course of twelve
years in the healthcare EDI industry. These
roles included: selling reimbursement solutions
to hospitals and clinics with The SSI Group;
promoting transaction processing software
to physicians and hospitals with WebMD; and
offering reimbursement solutions to physician
groups and payers with NDCHealth’s Provider
Transaction Group.
Mr. Halkos graduated from the University of
Virginia with a bachelor’s degree in
Foreign Affairs and minor in Spanish. |

James McDevitt joined Navicure in 2010. He
is responsible for all financial and accounting
aspects of the company, including Navicure’s
long-term financial forecasting. Mr. McDevitt
has 29 years of financial and business leadership
experience with growing healthcare and technology
companies.
Mr. McDevitt held senior financial positions
at Geac Computer Corporation and Bausch &
Lomb. He also served as chief financial officer
for Clarus Corporation, a publicly traded
Internet-based business-to-business electronic
commerce solutions provider, and as chief
operating officer at CDC Software, a $360
million provider of enterprise software applications
and services. Most recently, Mr. McDevitt
served as the president and CEO of Authoria,
a SaaS-delivered comprehensive talent management
software solution.
Mr. McDevitt has a bachelor’s degree
in Accounting and an M.B.A. from Bentley University. |

Craig Potts joined Navicure as Executive Vice
President of Sales in 2011. Mr. Potts is responsible
for leading Navicure’s Sales organization
including sales to physician practices and
billing services, as well as managing commercial
partnerships with healthcare technology firms.
Prior to joining Navicure, Potts served as
the Senior Vice President of Sales for Fiserv’s
largest Division (Electronic Payments &
Digital Channels) after the acquisition of
CheckFree by Fiserv in December 2007. Potts’
experience at Fiserv/CheckFree also included
managing Sales for the leading ACH financial
clearinghouse solution, Global Payment Solutions,
and Online Channel Solutions. He was a significant
contributor to the electronic transformation
of the payments industry.
Potts also held senior executive positions
at other leading technology firms including
MerchantWired, Clarus Coporation, and TenFold
Corporation, an application software and services
company, where he was Vice President of Sales
for TenFold’s Healthcare Division responsible
for directing recruiting, training, and management
of sales functions. Potts helped lead the
growth of revenues at TenFold from $5 million
to $96 million in three years and from pre-IPO
to a successful IPO. Before TenFold, Potts
held other sales, business development, and
management positions with companies such as
Decision Consultants, Inc., Accenture, KnowlegeWare,
and IBM/ROLM.
Potts earned a BBA in Marketing from the Terry
College of Business at the University of Georgia
in 1985 where he graduated with honors.

Todd Woods joined Navicure in 2002. He is
responsible for identifying, developing, and
managing commercial relationships with channel
partners, namely providers of practice management
systems.
Mr. Woods brings more than ten years of sales
and marketing experience to this role. Before
joining Navicure in 2002, he served as Director
of VAR Network Services for Allscripts Healthcare
Solutions, a provider of clinical software,
connectivity and information solutions, and
Senior VAR manager for ProVox Technologies,
a provider of speech recognition-based medical
documentation and workflow management systems.
Prior to that, Mr. Woods served as an Account
Manager for NDCHealth's Provider Transaction
Group and Cigna Healthcare, focusing on increasing
electronic claims submissions from providers.
Mr. Woods graduated from the University of
Alabama with a bachelor’s degree in
Healthcare Management and holds an M.B.A from
the University of Georgia’s Terry College
of Business. |
