MGMA
MGMA is the nation's principal voice for the medical
group practice profession. Its mission is to continually
improve the performance of medical group practice professionals
and the organizations they represent. MGMA serves 21,500
members who lead and manage more than 13,500 organizations
in which almost 270,000 physicians practice. Its diverse
membership comprises administrators, CEOs, physicians
in management, board members, office manager and many
other management professionals. Members work in medical
practices and ambulatory care organizations of all sizes
and types, including integrated systems and hospital-
and medical school-affiliated practices.
Professional
Association of Health Care Office Management (PAHCOM)
PAHCOM is a national organization dedicated to promoting
professionalism in physician office practice by providing
professional development opportunities, continuing education
in health care office management principles and practice,
and certification for health care office managers.
Colorado
Medical Society
The Colorado Medical Society is the largest organization
of physicians in the state of Colorado. This membership
organization comprised of physicians, residents and
medical students, was founded in 1871 to promote the
art and science of medicine and to improve the public
health. CMS’s role is as physician and patient
advocates. At CMS, physicians and patients alike can
find an interested listener to their concerns about
Colorado health care.

MGMA
CMGMA’s purpose is to improve management in medical
groups, thereby better serving members of the organization,
physicians they represent, patients they serve and the
group practice of medicine as an integral part of the
health care system. Its goals are: to develop and promote
educational programs for members or support personnel;
to provide a network of managers who are available to
share ideas and information to help solve common problems;
to increase membership in a manner that will strengthen
the organization in the further achievement of its organizational
objectives; to cooperate with all other organizations
having similar aims and objectives; and to promote legislative
education and advocacy.
Florida
MGMA
The FMGMA was founded in 1973. Its mission is to improve
the effectiveness of medical group practices in Florida
and the skills of the individuals who manage or lead
them.
New
York MGMA
NYMGMA is an active non profit association of more than
500 (Active, Affiliate and Sponsor members) professional
medical group managers from all across New York. We
are dedicated to the advancement of group practice management
through educational programs and information exchange
along with the enrichment of some good fun and fellowship.
Tennessee Medical Association
The Tennessee Medical Association is Tennessee’s
largest physician organization. We improve the effectiveness
of doctors to protect the health interests of patients.
By bringing doctors together, we are leading Tennessee
to a better state of health.
